Oh, there's no comparison between the two. IF healthy, you're comparing a true #1 talent to a "Mr. Reliable" possession-type receiver.

Also, IF healthy, Watson's contract could end up looking like a steal compared to some of the other WR1 contracts in the league...

But that's an awfully big IF.

However, I will admit that my earlier post was a bit of a knee-jerk reaction to the really, really, really big number... BUT, if it's structured in such a way that GB can get out of it relatively cheaply in a couple years if it should be proven that he's not past (and probably won't ever get past) the injury bug, then I retract my earlier post. And it probably is - but those details haven't come out yet (at least, not that I've been able to find)...

But I still probably would have kept Doubs instead and let someone else take the "if healthy" risk on Watson. Besides, Matthew Golden could end up surpassing all of them, really...
