IF they do nothing (i.e., he plays really well so they just keep him, pay the bonus, etc.), the cap hit jumps from ~$11.5m in 2027 to $24.5m in 2028, and a whopping $29.1m in 2029. But at that point, if he's playing well enough that they would even consider keeping him within that salary range, then I suspect they'd be looking for another extension somewhere around there."
