Let's pump the brakes on this one just a bit. All the links/stories I could find are quoting one source - Jason LaCanfora, who claims to have heard it from 'a source'.

With Parsons himself coming out a couple weeks back sounding all smiles and roses, let's hold up until we hear something from more than just one person quoting unnamed 'sources'.

Besides, this is saying "upwards of half the season". Parsons already said mid-October at the earliest - that would be at least six games in. Couldn't that be defined as 'upwards of half the season'? Or even if not, week 9 (the exact halfway point of the season) is November 8 - that's less than a month longer than we already knew about anyway. To me, that's not a huge change.

Worst case IMO: he returns after the bye for the (stupid stupid stupid) Wednesday Before Thanksgiving game... just in time to get in shape for the playoff push. Better that, than returning early and reinjuring himself and being out for the home stretch...
