I have too many questions to answer that, as I haven't looked into the Lions defense at all...

But the first question is how football ready is Jacobs after not being able to suit up for over a month, and does he need some ramp up time?


I assume they put him in on a limited snap count, how limited, no idea.


But I don't think Jacobs automatically fixes the run game by himself, as the blocking is horrible... but he moved able to break a tackle and rip off a big one.

Jacobs is also underrated in the passing game...

Looking up the Lions defensive stats...

They're average run defense and dead last in pass defense, so I would say mostly keep passing it and getting the RBs involved in the passing game, of course you have to run it enough to keep them honest.
