One, I don't think you can believe what they say, they say they care about players safety, but that's not what their actions say... their actions say they care more about PR, and winning the media battles, than actually fixing any underlying issues.


Also the Packers get to play the Thursday night game at home, so they don't have to travel for it, while the Panthers have a home game before they have to travel for the Thursday night game against the Packers. That seems generally fair to me.



I have a bigger issue with the Lions getting a bye week before their 1st division game? While this is our 3rd division game and no bye week... Packers don't get a bye week until after their 4th division game and don't have a division game in the first month after the bye week.

And the team that we're facing after the bye (Rams), have the same exact bye week, as the game is on Wednesday so no bye week advantage there.
