(EDDIE ENTERS )

EDDIE: Where do I sit?



WOMEN: Anywhere you like, but the couch has always been everyone's preference...

EDDIE: Couch will do!

WOMEN: I am doctor Susan Blake. I was told you needed my assistance,

EDDIE: Yeah Doc, I was told you are the best in the country. I'll pay what ever, but I need help

SB: Ok, let's not rush into things...I got a small profile on you,..you are a professional wrestler, you did movies, commercials. you own your own bar and penthouse and have an apartment in the upper Norwood section of t he bronx. You had a fiance Hennessy Divine. you have a brother Angel. is all that correct?

EDDIE: yes...

SB: so tell me Eddie , is it ok that i call you eddie

EDDIE: sure..is it ok i call you doc

SB: I prefer Blake, Ms. Blake, Doctor Blake

EDDIE: how about Susan

SB: how about we keep it informal right now,

EDDIE: then Doc it is..

SB: ok...where do you want to start, and before we start, I am not comfortable with this cameraman in here, My work is confidential..how are you going to be helped if you darkest secrets are exposed to everyone

EDDIE: Doc, my darkest secrets have already been exposed..I
m a wrestler. I ahve nearly killed my Ex-girlfriend, nearly killed my ex best friend, Nearly killed my two closest friends and dam near nearly kjlled myself on number of occasions but that is not what worries me, what worries me Doc, is that I'm starting not to feel emotion

SB: you don't feel like all these near death experiences are a problem?

EDDIE: I mean yeah, in context

SB: what context is that?

EDDIE: life, but this is life in the business

SB: and what is life in the business?

EDDIE: Well it's what it is, it's nothing and everything. no rules, spit into the wind. give the audience a show. See doc, regular life rules don't apply to us. we are not protected by authorities so we pretty much much live life outside the borders of society. We are like "ghost with pretty faces"

SB: Ghost with pretty faces?

EDDIE: yeah, it's like we exist to those who believe in it and though we can't be questioned we are recognized not for who we are but for what we do.

SB: Eddie you seem to be dripping, are you ok

EDDIE: Dammit........may I go to the rest room and fix my bandages..

SB: sure...........

(EDDIE COMES BACK IN ABOUT FOUR MINUTES AND SITS DOWN ON THE GROUND)

EDDIE: I feel better down here

SB: why?

EDDIE: I have done some bad things Doc...things ain't to proud of

SB: Well you did mention the nearly killing everyone around you

EDDIE: not that..see, Hennessy deserved whats he got, But i'm not sure if Talon was given a chance and I dam sure regret hurting DNA, but it's the business

SB: Whose business

EDDIE: My business, our business, what we signed up for

SB: I'm sure Hennessy didn't sign up for near death experiences, neither Did Talon or DNA

EDDIE: Doc when you sign your name on the dotted line you sign over you life.we all know what we are getting into when we commit.

SB: Eddie first I must commend you not only for coming to see me and seeking help, but doing it in such an open forum. Some would say this is a sign of weakness but I think courage shows great strength

EDDIE: Doc, this past Show i felt somehting i ahven't felt in a while

SB: what was that

EDDIE: I heard people cheering for me, and not the few cynical diabolical fans , but people, lots of people cheering...

SB: do you like the cheering

EDDIE: I don't don't like it...I just hate it comes with putting on an act

SB: An act?

EDDIE: listen I have always been myself, here i am minding my own business, supporting my then great friend Talon, a man I was proud to call a brother...and He stabs me in the back with my fiance a women i loved for nearly ten years. and not only did he or didn't he, that is not the item in question at the time, it was that it was exposed in front a global audience , he couldn't even have come clean earlier...so I did what any man in raged would do , i cleaned his clock and i got booed, I got booed for being the victim...

SB: do you think maybe the booing came from the fact as close friends you never gave him a chance to explain...

EDDIE: he had his chances Doc...nearly a year passed...See doc, this is why I am here, I feel like I am unraveling...My emotions of lack there of are being so drained that i find myself waking up in a sweat and in tears not knowing why, I'm angry and happy in the same sentence and I feel like I'm just stuck in this monotony.Doc i need your help....

SB: well this is why i am here Eddie. This is what I want you to do Eddie....I want you to go home...I heard your penthouse was being redone due to asbestos,

EDDIE: that is fixed already

SB: go home...write down the names of all the friends you have had in the past year and write down the positives and negatives of your relationship with them. then I want you to call them, not all i don't expect you and Hennessy or you and talon to make up just yet, but everyone else. they will see this ask them what is one thing they like and dislike about you and write it down and bring it in next time....

EDDIE: Ok doc...if you think that will help me

SB: well let's start there

(EDDIE GETS UP AND SHAKES HER HAND, I REALLY HOPE YOU HELP ME DOC

VOICE #1: He hates loosing

EDDIE: like wise

VOICE#1: driving....

EDDIE: I missed you guys....If there is anyone who i never wanted to turn my back on was you guys, but the fence wasn't strong enough and you guys just fell on the other side

VOICE #1: well thats done on our part. we are here for you

EDDIE: guys you know that means AC too

VOICE #2: we have already talked with him and i can't guarantee me and that guy won't beat the shit out of each other..but i will try to manage...I got to tell you i never thought we would be back together

EDDIE: who would have though it...EDDIE AND DNA AND AC JAMES....Wow...kinda reminds me of another super group that was formed back in the day
