The scene opens out onto a view of a dimly lit room, where a small table sits beside a simple wooden chair. In the chair sits H-W-A Spotlight Champion, Logan Neilson wearing ¾ length jeans and a black Killswitch Engage T shirt whilst on the table is a mobile phone, a wallet, a set of keys and some loose change, clearly Logans pocket contents. He clears his throat before speaking, his eyes not fixed on the camera but the sports section of a newspaper that is sitting on his lap.

(Logan): It’s been a rather eventful week in H-W-A. What wi the return of Butch Park-or and him assisting Senest-or, we also saw Han’s managing tae compete in his match wi Senester after all his b###hing during the week. AC and Eddie still tag champs thank tae Buff, reigniting a completely boring rivalry wi Maniac. Plus many more memorable moments.

He sighs before folding his paper and putting it aside.

(Logan): But I must point out it didnae really go as I had planned. My match with Eddie ending in defeat being the main thing. Ach but I cannae grumble, he beat me fairly and he was better than me on the night, I’d have loved tae kick his #### in tae next month but that’ll have tae wait. But there is one thing I think I have tae address… Vanessa.

He smirks before continuing.

(Logan): Jesus Christ hen, I didnae realise how fragile yer feelings were. I made a couple of cheeky comments, trying tae make a rather awkward situation more light hearted and now it’s like I’ve mortally offended ye! But #### me, if making b###hy comments behind yer announcers table makes ye feel better go right ahead, in case ye havnae noticed, I dinnae particularly give a shite about what people think of me.

He pauses as he fidgets in his chair to get more comfortable.

(Logan): This brings me on tae Hans. Look we had a few heated words and I dinnae expects us just tae automatically be mates again but I’ve nothing against ye so congratulations on yer win against “the immortal” Senester. I hope ye can see why I booked that match now?… But moving on tae this week. Me against Ronnie; non title. Fair enough, nae complaints, I will say he has failed in at least 2 shots at yer own title, so maybe giving him a match for the Spotlight Title is more his level.

He smirks again stroking his chin before chuckling a little.

(Logan): That’s not fair I suppose, when Ronnie brings his A game he can beat anyone, proven this week against Talon. So if am being honest I’m looking forward tae this match, I’ve got a lot of unused aggression built up and I just cannae wait tae unleash it. I do have a problem wi some of that shite ye have been spouting though. “Impending defeat”? If there’s one thing I love in an opponent, it’s confidence sprinkled of with just a taste of complacency. Just you wait Ronnie because after Havoc the only thing ye’ll have tae shout about is the fact that our surnames have 4 letters in common. Hans was right, I do love a fight, and that’s exactly what ye’ll get this Havoc.

Logan adjusts his position once more and cracks his neck from side to side and exhales deeply before settling once again.

(Logan): Now there’s one more thing I have tae address before ma bum gets numb. Senester mentioned it, as did Ronnie. I dinnae have as much friends as I used to.

Logan sticks out his bottom lip in a mocking sad face.

(Logan): Boo-####ing-hoo! I’ve said fae the start I didnae come here tae make friends and that havnae changed. Now am not some sad #### who sits about going about how am “the lone wolf” or that I “don’t trust anybody” but I didnae get tae be where I am because of ma mates. I’ll stick ma neck out and say am the best Spotlight champion the H-W-A has seen and I’ve no’ even been here a year yet and with Ring Master just around the corner I’m gonnae prove just how good I am!! Sure enough Hans may not have my back anymore, Red Dragon is a potato, Talon is impossible tae get in contact wi and Butch… well I never liked Butch anyway! Sure enough I might be on my own but ye can take yer heid for a shite if ye think it’s gonnae effect my performance, and am gonnae start showing that by taken down McNeil this week.

With that said Logan grabs up his belongings, thrusting them into his pocket, finally checking his phone reading a smutty text from Ally a grin crosses his face as the scene fades out.
