The scene fades back in as Talon is seen walking down the busy streets of New York City... He is stilled dressed in the same jeans and shirt as before, but he now has on a Grey and black Yankees hat and a small backpack...



As Talon walks he approaches Union Square, he sees a large crowd gathered for a "barbecue" much different from the type they have in North Carolina... There is a DJ mixing music, and large lines in every direction as people await trays of free food, canned coffee, and even cotton candy. Talon smirks and walks through the crowd before stopping as a large group of the people in attendance are gathered in a circle watching a commotion... Talon inquisitively peers into the circle to see two men in jeans and gloves engaging in what appears to be a live pit fight.
As the fight proceeds Talon loses interest and continues his walk. He limps slightly, still favoring his soar knee. The cameras continue to follow Talon as he makes his way though the city, passing street vendors and random people playing instruments for cash donations. Eventually he arrives at Washington Square park. People sit everywhere, enjoying the breeze that blows through the city. Talon looks over and sees a group of friends standing near the large fountain in the center of the park... he chuckles to himself as one of the four men removes his shoes and socks before jumping into the fountain and making his way to the center to snap a quick photo... He shakes his head and continues his walk across the park until he arrives in a familiar area... SoHo. Talon looks up and sees the Penthouse he used to call home. He takes a deep breath before entering the building and getting on the elevator... after a minute the elevator chimes and the doors open. Talon walks over to the door of Ed's Penthouse and again takes a deep breath before knocking...

After several minutes Talon turns and begins to walk away as the door opens...

"What do you want?"

Talon turns back and sees Davis standing in the door way.

Talon, "Davis, is Ed here?"

Davis, "No, he wanted to clear his head... I won't tell him you came by."

Talon, "but..."

Davis, "He doesn't need to get into a war right now. He's not taking it that well."

Talon, "I was here to end this sh*t Dave, enough is enough."

Davis, "Just go home man, you've done enough damage."

Talon bites the inside of his lip refraining from charging Davis, he simply lets out a flustered exhale and reaches into his bag... he tosses a green box to Davis as he walks back into the elevator.

Talon, "you don't have to tell him its from me."

As the elevator closes, the camera catches Davis' conflicted expression as he looks at the box containing a bottle of Patron Tequila... he goes inside as the camera ducks into the elevator...

Talon exits the building, visually frustrated and upset. He heads to the subway and after swiping his metro card and going through the gates, hops onto the 4 train... with a lot on his mind, Talon never looks up as he sits down on the subway train. The camera man coughs conspicuously until Talon finally looks up at him.

Talon, "What?"

Camera Man, "3 o'clock..."

Talon looks over to his right and is shocked to see Eddie sitting a few feet away from him.
Eddie is silent, simply looking straight ahead, deep in thought.

Talon, "Ed..."

after a few moments of silence, Ed turns and looks at Talon. He doesn't speak but Ken does.

Ken, "What are you doing here Talon? He doesn't want to talk to you man."

Talon looks at Ed, awaiting a response...

Talon, "Eddie, listen... this is over, whether you can let it go or not, I'm moving on. I'm done being your enemy. I will face you in the ring, and I will try to take that world championship from around your waist, but I will not step into the ring as your mortal enemy, I will do it as the number one contender... Senester has twisted everything so much over the past year that the realities of things have been blurred so badly that I don't even know what is true anymore... all I know is that we were brothers, and then the entire thing with..."

Talon pauses, mournfully thinking about his friend, and Eddie's once fiance, Hennessey...

Talon, "I'm sorry bro, I didn't know until I saw you read the letter on TV."

Eddie looks at Talon with an unreadable stare, he then looks over to Ken.

Ken, "I read that letter, not you."

Eddie nods at Ken agreeably.

Talon looks at Ed, then back over across the train to see who Ed is acknowledging.

Talon, "Ed, what are you nodding for?"

Eddie looks at Talon.

Eddie, "Ken"

Talon looks up and sees a young black male sitting across from him, and then a few empty seats and then a young asian woman...

Talon, "your name Ken?"

The guy sitting across from Talon looks puzzled...

Guy, "Yeah, how'd you know?"

Talon looks at Ed and inquisitively asks.

Talon, "...he didn't say anything... Ed, you know this guy?"

Eddie looks back up and sees that Ken has walked away, he sees the young man across from Talon and shrugs as the train comes to a stop.

Talon, "Ed, I really want to start piecing this back together. I'm training 7 days a week at the Icebox, so swing by next week and we will sit down and talk. I want to bury this beef and even if we cant get back to how things were... I want to know that we are at least not gunning for each other on a personal vendetta..."

Eddie simply nods unemotionally as Talon stands up and pats him on the back.

Talon, "This is my stop... take it easy bro, call me if you need anything."

As Talon exits the train, Ken walks back from out of the shot and sits next to Eddie as the doors close and the train continues on...

The camera crew continues to follow Talon as he exits the subway station and gets back up to street level. As soon as he does, a horse drawn carriage, decked out in Senester Purple stops in front of him....



Horse driver, "Your too late... Lord Senester has ruined you and your career. it is a futile effort to attempt to salvage it. There is only one way."

Talon's lip curls in anger as the driver continues.

Driver, "Give yourself to him... completely."

Before Talon can say a word, the carriage drives off. Talon shakes his head in disbelief and continues his walk as the scene fades.
