*The scene opens in a hotel room, Maniac is alone and sitting in a chair thinking about the events that took place at Havoc. He stands and paces the floor for a few minutes before speaking.*

Maniac: It's starting to come back, what was shown to me has started a fire and it's slowly burning. I don't know what to do, Bryan thinks I should stay away but this man that came to me helped me remember. His way of helping was a bit...aggressive but none the less I have to have more. I need to see what's happened so I can get my memory back. Bryan tells me that we have a tag team match coming up...great. I got my ass handed to me last time and they want me to step in the ring again?

*Maniac walks around the room and notices a mini bar. He stares at it for a moment before opening it.*

Maniac: Jesus, they like to make sure you get what you pay for don't they?

*Maniac closes the bar and walks back over to the chair and sits.*

Maniac: I don't care what anyone says, I am going back. I need to know what happened in two-thousand and four, I need to find out more about my past. You know, one thing that has been really sticking to me is how right he was when he said blood and pain were my best friends. I somehow feel that he was right, like I can't live without those two things. Another thing was how he talked about Bryan, how we wanted to continue to leech off me by filling me with false memories. This can't be true...can it? Bryan is my friend...isn't he?

*Maniac gets up and walks off as the scene fades to black.*
