HWA Message Board: Questions on Reality

The scene slowly fades in as it does we hear a song playing on the stereo "Somebody Save Me" by Jellyroll. As the sun slowly rises above the horizon we find Legion looking out over the awakening New Orleans. He leans back and grips the bar of weights. He starts lifting as he speaks.

Legion- Well once again Fallen is unreachable. Go f*cking figure. And hes not awnsering my calls. Its funny thinking back here always seemed to keep his distance.

The weights make a klinking noise over and over as he lifts.

Legion- Guess he wasn't kidding about handling things myself. Ok. Fine. Who can I trust? My Dad always warned me that Fallen tried to control everything. But what didn't Basher tell me...

The weight bar clangs as it hits the metal brackets. Legion stands and towels himself off. He looks out over the city sprawling below him. He picks up his cell and starts scrolling.

Legion- Let's see. Who do I trust? Who will tell me the truth? Who will I believe to not lie?

The next song playing is "Simple Man". Legion starts pacing.

Legion- Uncle Mike? Rev is Fallens brother and tends to listen and follow Fallens lead. So more then likely he wont give it to me straight.

Legion shakes his head as he keeps scrolling.

Legion- No. No. No. No. No. Wait maybe. What is it? Should I believe Dragon? He honestly hasn't lied to me yet. And with my "Uncles" trying to hide something... Maybe I should have taken Basher advice a long time ago. And trust myself above everyone.

He stops suddenly. A odd expression crosses his face. A slow smiles spreads across his face. Suddenly he quickly dials a number.

Legion- Hey its Legion. Yes the "new" one. I have some questions and think we need to talk in person. Yes I can be there. Ok. Thanks.

He hangs up and after looking up the number he makes another call.

Legion- Hi yes I need to book a flight. To Iowa. Yes that will be fine. That will be perfect.

He drops the phone and as he starts packing to leave the screen then fades to black.
