"My fellow grapplers, armchair referees, and enthusiastic fans from around the globe, Merry Christmas. It is I, Stu-E Price, World Champion of the HWA, speaking to you today from my winter retreat.
As I reflect on the year behind us, one thing is clear: 2024 was a year of challenges, triumphs, and one particularly nasty accusation. We have all faced obstacles—though none as daunting as my well-respected nemesis, Sean Parker. Yet, like me, you have all risen to the occasion, haven’t you? Whether it was tackling a new job, dealing with a loud neighbour, or simply finding a parking spot during holiday shopping, you fans have fought like champions. And for that, I salute you.
Of course, this year was not without its controversies. From the disappearance of Bryan Deas to the emergence of a baby in the family of Hans. From the calamity and chaos of Erica to the innocent mistake of Starlight. In a lot of ways, my HWA family have been through it all.
Christmas is a time for togetherness, for giving, and—if you’re me—for showing off your hard-fought World championship belt under the tree. It’s a moment to pause and reflect on the important things in life: family, friends, and the undeniable fact that I’m still your Champion. You might celebrate by singing carols or pulling crackers, but here at Balmoral Castle, we prefer to celebrate like true gentlemen by raising a glass of whisky and taking a moment to be thankful.
As we enter 2025, I encourage you to adopt the mindset of a champion. Set your goals high, whether they involve career advancement, personal growth, or simply eating fewer mince pies. And remember life will occasionally throw you into a metaphorical chokehold, but you can always fight your way to the ropes.
On a personal note, I have big plans for the new year. More exciting entrances, more guest appearances, and even more title defences. Provided, of course, I make it through my New Years Eve match against Tobias Clarke. Anything can happen in this business, and I am not taking anything for granted, but I am looking forward to choking him out.
And so, on this festive day, as you sit around your tables enjoying your roast dinners and questionable novelty socks, know this: I’m proud to be your champion, not just in wrestling but in spirit. Together, we’ll face the challenges of 2025 with grit, determination, and, ideally, a folding chair for emergencies.
Thank you, Merry Christmas, and may your holidays be filled with joy, laughter, and perfectly executed British poundings!
Stu-E raises an ornate goblet of whisky as the camera zooms out, revealing a massive Christmas tree decorated with miniature championship belts, the screen fades to black as some Christmas music plays in the disance.
