On camera

We open at The Jackson Zoo located in Jackson, Mississippi. Maniac noticed it as the bus made its way towards Dallas, Texas for Fatality and wanted to stop to clear his head. Maniac walks the ground admiring all of the animals when he stops at the Southern White Rhinoceros. Maniac sighs heavily as he shakes his head…

Maniac: Dammit Wolfy you should be here enjoying this with me, not being possessed and tortured by a demon. I’m sorry pal, I pulled you into this madness but I promise I’ll get you out of it. Wherever you are, fight it with all your might. Use those animal spirits and fight that demonic piece of shyt.

Maniac moves on and as he reaches the AVES (Birds) his thoughts are interrupted by the sound of Meredith’s voice coming from behind the camera.

Meredith: Would you stop beating yourself up about that? You said it yourself, that demon will cause chaos to feed off of and that’s what it's doing right now. It’s using people like pawns in its sick game of chess…besides, I’m sick of hearing you whine about it. That and aren’t you supposed to be talking about your upcoming HWA Championship match against Stu-E Price at Fatality? Have you heard him on the latest Six Feet Under podcast? Did you even know he was on it?

They reach the Great Horned Owl when Maniac suddenly stops and turns towards Meredith.

Maniac: Gee coach, thanks for the advice. Listen, I’ve been doing this for awhile and I’m pretty sure I know how these things go so how about you just work the camera and I’ll handle the rest, ok?

You can’t see it because she’s behind the camera but Meredith flips Maniac the bird as she mouths the word “asshole” which Maniac simply  chuckles and shrugs his shoulders in response.

Maniac: Here we are Stu, on the road to Fatality. And even though we’ve taken two different roads to get there, they will intersect and only one will move on as Champion. I heard what you said on the Six Feet Under podcast and I feel the same, you’re one Hell of a competitor and I really look forward to this match. Not only because the HWA Championship is on the line but because we get to really showcase our skills, two veterans of this sport in the main event for the biggest prize in professional wrestling.

Maniac fishes out his pack of cigarettes and removes one putting it in his mouth and lighting it. He takes a drag while trying to remember if smoking is aloud in the zoo but just shrugs it off, they’re outside so it’s not like the smoke will bother anyone.

Maniac: I respect the Hell out of you Stu, you’re an icon in this business but I was serious when I said this was my full circle…my redemption. And I was just as serious if not more when I said there’s nobody that’s going to stop me either from getting it.

Maniac notices a group of people heading his and Meredith’s way so as he takes a few drags off his cigarette Maniac motions Meredith to follow and they find a some unoccupied benches. Maniac sits down and leaning his back against the table he continues as he smokes his cigarette.

Maniac: I don’t think you understand how bad I want this Stu, I never lost that title I had to give it up and then was locked away and forgotten about. I had to make a deal with a demon to get out just so I could get back, which works into the redemption part because we all know how my return went. I’ve been busting my ass trying to undo all the damage that demon has done and while it seems there is more work to be done right now my focus is on you and winning the HWA Championship. You may have been the first to sign your name on a contract but I’ve been thinking of that gold ever since I was forced to let it go all those years ago, it’s been eating me alive and now I have a chance to right a major wrong and I won’t hesitate in doing so.

Maniac finishes his cigarette puts it out, standing up he walks over to the nearest trashcan and throws the cigarette butt away.

Maniac: This is going to be an epic match Stu, no matter who wins I look forward to shaking your hand afterwards.

Maniac smiles and nods as he walks away letting the scene fade to black.

Off camera

We open to alternate Mandy behind the wheel of a rent a car, driving down the highway she has her phone in a holster that’s mounted on the dash, the phone is connected via Bluetooth to an ear pod that she has in her ear and plugged into the bottom of her phone is a device that resembles a USB drive. She’s currently in the middle of a business call with an unknown man.

Alternate Mandy: No sir, Erica’s not with me and thank God for that. If I had to hear another chica this or chica that I was going to take that butterfly knife of hers and stab her myself.

Alternate Mandy laughs at whatever is said then continues.

Alternate Mandy: Indeed, it was very fortunate that the demon revealed itself at the end of Havoc it killed two birds with one stone. I don’t have to pretend like I’m trying to figure out what happened to Hanes or whatever is name is and I’ve got Erica off my back, both were slowing my main mission down…

She listens for a few moments before speaking again.

Alternate Mandy: Don’t worry sir, everything is going as planned. By the time I’m done with this one he’ll be begging me to kill him and then it’ll be on to the next one…

She shakes her head in acknowledgment of what she’s being told.

Alternate Mandy: Don’t worry I’m not underestimating him, just taking my time. This one has proven to be more resourceful than the others and I don’t want to miss any opportunities…

Once again she nods in acknowledgement.

Alternate Mandy: Yes sir, I’ll be sure report back…ok I will, love you too daddy see you when this is all over.

She presses the button on the ear pod, ending the call and continues her drive with a big smile on her face as the scene fades.
