Dear Fans,

On May 22nd 2017, 22 people went to an Ariana Grande concert and never made it home. Of the people that were moments away from being victims, but were fortunate to not have walked round that corner, one of them was my daughter.

It was a phone call I never want to receive again in my life, and something that I’ll never forget. When my daughter finally got home at 5am all we did was hug. I can’t describe the feeling of relief when I got my eldest girl in my arms. Even now I can’t listen to Ariana Grande music without thinking of that night.

It has been a journey since, my girl experienced mental health issues and her Mother, who was with her, suffered serious PTSD issues which lead to multiple suicide attempts and a hell of a lot of hard work to rescue her from the brink.

This isn’t a gimmick, this is what I. Stuart Paul Price lived through, and continues to live through every damn year. This is why I have taken the decision as a father, for Laney not to be part of HWA going forward in any capacity.

It is simply, not a safe environment for her to be around, and never will be as long as this Dream Master character exists. I nearly lost one daughter, I will not jeopardise another.

With Laney staying at home, I think it’s time for me to stay at home too. I’m disappointed how Fatality went after I spent months and months last year trying to convince the outside World that HWA was simply a wrestling company with some strong characters.

What happened throughout the show frankly, sickened me, and I don’t want any part of it. I’m writing this from my parents house in Darlington, England and will not be travelling to Portland for Havoc under any circumstances, so please don’t buy tickets expecting to see me walking down that aisle on June 2nd or any date after that until HWA cleans itself up.

I realise that this may upset some people in the office, but the lines of communication are not closed completely. Becoming Champion had a lot of benefits, one of which was signing a deal to join the most dominant sports agency in the World, Creative Artists Agency, who will be acting on my behalf until the time is right to return, or simply walk off in to the sunset.

Either way, it’s time for a beer and some family time.
