The professor had always operated on the fringes of morality and sanity. Hoff’s eccentric genius had warped into something malevolent, reminiscent of the legendary Frankenstein, crafting grotesque beings from the remnants of discarded lives.
(Dragon): Professor Hoff I watched your match with my brother Wyatt and I listened to you threatening him about his military career. Now you have to survive against me. Professor Hoff and our match will be something worse than your match against Wyatt so I hope you are prepared.
William's thoughts drifted back to the night of Wyatt's match. William blasted through his workout. Each lift of the barbell mirrored his inner struggle against the metaphorical weights he carried. William dropped the barbell with a satisfying thud, his breath heavy but his resolve unwavering. Each rep had not just built muscle, but reinforced his determination. He wouldn't let Hoff’s madness spread like a contagion.
He grabbed a towel, wiping the sweat from his brow, feeling the built-up tension in his shoulders ease slightly. However, in his heart, he knew the battle was far from over.
