Off camera

We open to where we last left off with alternate Maniac and Mandy, sitting by the fire and talking when suddenly alternate Mandy stands as she shakes her head in disbelief.

Alternate Mandy: No! You lie!

Alternate Maniac smiles as he stands, hands held out to show he’s still no threat.

Alternate Maniac: No my child I don’t lie, I only tell truth. You must look within and see it’s true.

Alternate Mandy shakes her head again.

Alternate Mandy: No, you’re crazy. That demon has your mind warped!

Alternate Maniac says nothing, just stands there still smiling with his hands out while alternate Mandy continues to shake her head in disbelief. After deciding that she can’t listen to or trust this Maniac she goes for her machete, she grabs it and turns to use it but alternate Maniac is already right behind her. Before she can stab him alternate Maniac quickly places his hands on either side of alternate Mandy’s head and instantly she is being shown her life, from birth to her death and then her resurrection in the android body she has now. She wants to scream out that its all a lie but deep down she knows that it isn’t, she can’t explain why but she just knows. Her legs have been shaking the whole time alternate Maniac has been showing her this and when they can’t take anymore they finally buckle and alternate Mandy falls to her knees, she just sits there like that for a few moments in complete shock over the revelation that was just dropped on her. It takes her a few moments to find the words to speak and the strength to raise her head but when she does she looks alternate Maniac right in the eyes.

Alternate Mandy: Why did you show me that?

With the smile that never left his face alternate Maniac answers.

Alternate Maniac: To set you free of course so you may do what you need to.

Alternate Mandy: And what would that be?

He says nothing, only continues to stare and smile which irritates alternate Mandy and she jumps to her feet getting in alternate Maniac’s face.

Alternate Mandy: Would you stop just standing there with that stupid look on your face and actually say something that’s helpful?!?!?! For ####s sake, you’re just like that idiot back in my univ….

She stops suddenly, finally coming to the realization that alternate Maniac has been trying to get her too.

Alternate Mandy: Seriously? Him?!?!?!?

She goes to ask why but stops herself knowing that alternate Maniac wouldn’t answer, only just stand there with that stupid smile on his face. She stands there just looking at him for a moment before turning around, grabs her machete and starts heading back the way she came. She stops for a moment and looks back at alternate Maniac who gives her a nod, that smile not leaving his face. She sighs and then continues walking, heading towards her destiny as the scene fades.

On camera

The scene opens at Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park in Glendale, Arizona. There’s people everywhere, all enjoying the variety of animals to see and the different attractions to experience. As the camera pans we find Maniac sitting on a bench who notices the camera as it approaches and nods, he has a look of sadness of his face thinking about Wolfy and everything that’s been going on. He lets out a sigh as he stands, the weight of everything smacking him like a wave.

Maniac: You know Shark, there’s a lot of things that I’m trying to fix. Everything I’ve fuked up since coming back to the HWA at the reunion pretty much, and one of those things is getting Wolfy killed in all this mess. I will do it Shark, just like I’m going to send that demon back to Hell and I’ll do it alone. I’m not going to bore you with details on how, but just know that it’s going down. I know you and Wolfy were close Shark but I’ll make it right and bring him back, make him whole again.

Maniac makes his way to Wild Burger, one of many restaurants within the zoo and orders a Italian Grinder which comes with ham, genoa salami, pepperoni, provolone, shredded lettuce, banana peppers, vinaigrette, marinated tomatoes, and garlic aioli all on a toasted baguette with a Rockstar to drink. After Maniac has his food and drink he goes to a table and sits down, he pops open the Rockstar and takes a drink before taking a bite of his grinder enjoying the delicious flavors. He washes the bite down with another drink of Rockstar and wipes his mouth, preparing to speak.

Maniac: I don’t really know you personally Shark, just that you’re friends with Wolfy…almost like a brother. You’re impressive in the ring too, that was an epic win over Rob Sharpe at Havoc and I look forward to stepping in the ring with you. But don’t think for one second that I’m looking past you Shark, when it comes time for us to step in the ring against each other I’m going to be aiming to win, to show everyone why I’m the HWA Champion and that won’t be changing anytime soon. So bring you’re A game like you did against Rob Sharpe because the circus is in town here in Glendale, Arizona Shark and if you’re not careful you’ll end up in my freak show, the real life Shark boy!! See you at Havoc.

Maniac smiles and nods before turning back to his grinder and continues to eat as the scene fades to black.

Off camera

We open to the lowest, most secured (or so they thought) floor of the George Bush Center for Intelligence in Langley, Virginia. Alarms are blaring and red lights are flashing which cast an eerie light throughout the corridors, CIA agents are scrambling around in a panic all armed as they try and defend their headquarters from the intruder which so far has been unsuccessful. Maniac makes his way through the corridors also armed and he shoots any CIA agent he sees, he doesn’t care about taking bullets because he's got the spear of destiny but still does his best to not get shot remembering those special bullets that were used the last time they attacked him. He finds a spot where there’s nobody around and turns to the non-existent camera.

Maniac: I bet you’re wondering just how I got here and why I’m even here, well I’ll give ya three guesses on the how part. Those who’ve been paying attention to what’s been going on will need only two of those guesses.

Maniac raises his arm with the time travel device strapped to it and extends two fingers, smiling as he does so. He then quickly pulls out the spear of destiny from behind his back and shows it to the non-existent camera before securing it in his waist band.

Maniac: As for why, well someone once said “To do something good you have to do something really bad first” so here I am, doing the bad so I can do some good in the end. Fuked up world we live in, huh?

Maniac turns away from the non-existent camera and continues his mission when suddenly a CIA agent jumps from around the corner with what looks like a modified pirate ship cannon with handles pointed at him, before Maniac can get his gun up the CIA agent fires and a sonic blast comes out that knocks Maniac backwards. As he flies backwards Maniac loses grip on his gun and it bounces away as Maniac hits the ground hard, he’s quickly swarmed by a group of CIA agents including the one who just knocked him off hid feet with that sonic cannon while the others have machine guns or something bigger. They all aim at Maniac’s head and body and are all about to pull the trigger when the sound of Mandy’s voice freezes them all. She yells the command to stop and everyone turns, seeing her standing there with a grin on her face and a shotgun in hand. At first Maniac was glad to hear her voice but once he looked over and saw her he quickly realized that was the alternate Mandy, his heart sank but he wasn’t going to give up. He’d wait for the perfect opportunity and that’s when he’d make his move, he was going to finish this and nobody would stop him. The agents stand down as Alternate Mandy gets closer and when she’s within firing range she quickly takes aim and shoots the agent with the sonic cannon in the head, blowing his head off and his body hits the ground. She takes advantage of the shock between the other agents and starts firing at them as Maniac watches in amazement at her speed and accuracy, that is short-lived however as Maniac realizes that she won’t be able to get all of them. As if reading his thoughts alternate Mandy turns to Maniac and motions for him to get up.

Alternate Mandy: I’m here rescuing you and you’re just gonna leave a lady stranded?

Maniac can’t help but chuckle as he quickly gets to his feet before he and alternate Mandy finish off the rest of the agents. After they’re done, Maniac turns to alternate Mandy with a suspicious look in his eyes and folds his arms across his chest to emphasize his thoughts.

Alternate Mandy: Look, I get it. But I’ve had an experience…in an alternate universe I ran into you and he unlocked the truth in my mind. I’m sorry for what I’ve done to you and Mandy, I want to make amends and this is how.

Maniac studies her for a moment, looking her in the eyes and she has that look that his Mandy says he gets when he’s trying to apologize for what he’s done or trying to get help with DreamMaster. After a few moments Maniac nods his head and motions for her to follow him.

Maniac: Come on, we’re going to bring this place down.

The two continue on together clearing the place of any remaining agents as they head to Maniac’s destination as the scene fades.
