He truly loved the game and tried like heck to get back to pitch with us.
He was a friend to all. He made you feel "at home" when you were in his company, no matter where you were. Even though he was no longer near the height of his game he pitched as long as he could because he enjoyed the people and pitching those 'shoes.
He will be missed.
