Congratulations to Ben! It’s a major feat to become the President of such a large association. If I’m not mistaken, he’s the first ever from Kentucky to accomplish that.

This has been a very challenging year for Ben and everyone in the KHPA. A lot of sleep has been lost because of horseshoes over the past year. However, as the state tournament approaches, it’s time for everyone to set their differences aside. It’s now time for peace and reconciliation for horseshoes in Kentucky.

Things aren't always easy and as straight forward as they may appear. Making tough and unpopular decisions is an unfortunate part of life. There are times you have to take a step back to move forward but giving up is never an option.

There is much to repair and much to heal but there is also much to build on. There is no other alternative but to unite to honor the memory of those who came before us by solidifying the KHPA and the NHPA to what they once were. I’m confident Ben (along with all current and past members) can help make that happen.
