After meeting with the family of James H. Pop Johnson, I have added newly discovered box scores and statistics from the 1949 and 1950 Kentucky State Tournaments. This information was located in a personal scrapbook kept by Mr. Johnson during his horseshoe years. Copies of these results were graciously provided by Pop's Grandchildren, Bonnie Dauwe Hansen and Jeff Dauwe. The KHPA, owes them much thanks in assisting to add these records to our history archive.
