He did practice at night, and it was pretty chilly.
Yes, the lighting will affect him, and so do the painted lines, curbs etc.
All those things conspire to psyche him out, because all those painted lines, curbs, buildings etc. reveal the height a lot more strikingly than the flat dirt did at his practice location. The lights will be pointing upward at him to blind him, but he should be fine with the lights.
It's the dubious height, the shortened landing ramp and no recent practice that concerns me, and it should concern him too. He should be fine stepping up, but dropping off, he could go long. I'm a little nervous for the man because there are certain unanswered questions, and because he's nervous about it.
He can look past the visual mindpork of the painted lines and the different look of the place. It's the actual measurements and practice rustiness that will be of concern.

: Thankfully, the weather doesn't appear to be
: much of an issue. Especially good to see the
: winds should be almost calm.
:
: What I'm more concerned about is him doing
: this jump at night. Not sure on the
: lighting setup, but it's bound to affect his
: perspective. And by the looks of the
: videos, he only practiced during daylight
: hours.
:
: Fingers crossed for Maddo!
