It's kind of weird that they assume the guy was doing 60 just because the speedo is stuck on 60. He was probably doing well over 70, because he first had to go off the road (slowing down in the process, get sideways with four tires scrubbing in the dirt (slowing down some more), hit pavement with the left front tire scrubbing sideways (slowing more), hit pavement with the right front tire scrubbing sideways (slowing more), hit pavement with the left rear tire scrubbing sideways (slowing more), hit pavement with the right rear tire scrubbing sideways (slowing more), and continue scrubbing all four tires sideways on pavement before hitting all the bikes he was going to hit and then getting stopped.
