OK. I mentioned before about my seemingly lifeless, 19-years-in-the-ground, 15 ft high Live Oak. Well, recently I noticed a couple of light-colored bumps on one small limb. Now, these bumps are appearing all over the part of the tree I can easily see. I can't really tell what's going on up in the top of the tree yet. Some of these "bumps" are starting to look like tiny leaves emerging.
I guess the poor thing lost all of its primary buds and is trying to recover from secondary buds beneath the bark.
