Re: What is your favourite Broadleaf evergreen? And why?
don't know---except as a very very young seedling when it's (like most every thing else with simple leaves) rather non-descript the plant looks good at all stages to me at least. even the first plant I got from woodlanders many years ago as a foot tall seedling looked cool then and now with some leaves almost a foot long it's even more attractive and exotic looking IMHO. it may simply be one of the un-explained and un-explainable quirks of the nursery trade that has so far condemned a really handsome plant to obscurity so far
