We are in full blown autumn right now, had a freeze last week, and I now have everything chopped down, dug up etc... The first pic is my Alocasia; Odora I surmise. I just pop the whole root ball out (fairly heavy `~50-75 lb's each), throw it in a garbage bag, then throw it in a dark closet in my basement. Same with my other alocasias and bareroot bananas. See you in spring. Everything that's left in the ground now will stay in the ground. Of course, protection is needed in several instances. My son posing in front of the basjoo and sweetgum throwing some Georgia love your way. You can probably tell how lazy I've been if you recognize that frisbee that's been there for awhile. Trunk is close to 1 foot tall. I'll update as protection season nears.
