Spring is undeniably here, in Delaware! Not yet the time to plant frost-sensitive annual plants yet but plenty of outdoor plants blooming.
Daffodils have been blooming for over a couple weeks already:
My 'Red Jade' Camellias are looking good:
...despite what the squirrels did to the overall plant, in building a nest with Camellia branches last Fall! (it will all grow back, RIGHT ?!?!?)
As are my neighbor's Saucer Magnolias (even looking a little past-peak already)...
And this pink Star Magnolia down the street:
My good old Needle Palm chugged through winter completely unprotected:
As did it's new neighbor, only planted last year (though I admit to covering it with a garbage can during our 3 - 4 coldest nights!):
Spring is also in the air, in my sun room. My 3 pet doves have decided not to wait for me to supply them with a nest and have instead laid eggs in my flower pots!
Tricksy, my only female, decided to lay some eggs in what was a spider plant!
Her boyfriend, Pecker, is sitting on more of her eggs in my Bougainvillea pot:
Their son, Lefty, is sitting out this season...
Hopefully they are just playing house and nothing will hatch! Trying to cut down on the birds... and they ain't helpin!
