Despite the crazy up and down temperatures, my Camellias have toughed it out and have been blooming away.
My 'Red Jade' Camellias (I have 3 in the ground) are just past their peak but are still loaded with flowers.
I especially love the color of the 'Red Jade'.
My 6+ foot tall 'Kumasaka' is just reaching it's peak. Not sure what tonight's super cold with do to it!
My other 'Kumasaka' is starting
to bloom but is thankfully holding back a little. I also have a 'Kramers Supreme' (a 7b variety) but that one is also (wisely) waiting to bloom.
As for some other plants - my Red-Tip Photinia has lots of new growth already. So far, it has survived the last few cold nights... hopefully the new growth will also survive tonight's FREEZE:
