I spent the last weekend of April visiting Provincetown and I stumbled upon a few interesting plants.
Although a bit ratty and rangy looking, this rosemary plant managed to survive unprotected in a pot on the street.
This is one fine looking magnolia! Note the palm in the background. The owner had several other tropical and non-hardy plants in the yard (bromeliads for example). It was obvious that they were recently put in the ground.
Although past it's flowering prime, this camellia was a nice surprise.
And the really shocker... This palm did not look like it was recently buried (or protected in any manner?). While the rocks around it were likely placed recently, I saw no indication of soil disturbance!
