Rostrata was fine here in town, i do not know of any in Moriarty. Surprises...........some types of Pyracantha killed here but washingtonia filifera survives. Look closely at my first picture and notice the cold damaged evergreens(juniper?). Trees with with burst frozen trunks and palm fine after being defoliated. Alot had to do with the fact the freeze happened in Feb, and this far south, some thing are blooming then, palms are mostly dormant. Pomegranites killed to the ground, a first in my time here(1976). wierd stuff like that. Notice damage to evergreens Dead 15' pyracantha behind yucca palms ok |
