Hi Jim Yucca angustissima is likely a zone 4 or 5 plant. I have not seen much data on grandiflora but based on it's lineage i'd say it's likely to be a z7b yucca on the east coast......perhaps z8a. Yucca periculosa is likely the least hardy on your list most likely a z8b. I've tried arizonica, all are dead now likely a z7a or 7b for the east coast. I'm talking northern states for east coast. I'm sure all but periculosa can survive south of Maryland area. The other issue is humidity since angustissima struggles to survive here in Massachusetts.......as they slowly die over several years. Where can you get grandiflora? I never tried that one and have been looking for years. |
