Many thanks for the tip Rob. I would love to ignore the problem if they were just staying on the spanish dagger but they also go on more prized yuccas so I will need to do something. I was able to take a picture of the "eggshell" left behind


These were at the top of a leaf so they would have been easy to see but most were under the leaves.
A systemic would be perfect I think.
