My area of South Jersey looks like a war zone. I have never seen such destruction of trees, roofs, and signage over such a widespread area. A house about 500 feet from ours was split in 2 from a large oak. Two years ago we had about 25 big pines, oaks, and cedars taken out of the front of our property. Besides not being able to grow a lawn from the acidity and shade of the trees, I was always afraid one of them would fall on the house. Who knows what would have happened if they were still there Friday night.
