kyle, very nice! am growing faxoniana also, but i started with small seedlings from ebay. they are quite slow growers, so yours must be several years old already. none of my seedlings planted out in about 2006 are showing a trunk yet, although the leaves are quite long. some show leaf spot after going through a winter here in georgia, but otherwise look healthy. they even seem to like red clay soil here, which surprised me. watch out weeding.... the leaves are stiff enough to really STAB you! |
