Yucca filata #5 is very nice. So far it is trunk forming and has not produced any offshoots. It bloomed 2 years ago too (no offshoots after blooming).

Is it possible seed from the mother plant could produce offspring different from the mother yucca?

since I have many Yuccas in bloom there is a chance a seed pod will be produced from a Yucca moth and not from me. The Yucca moth may take pollen from another Yucca to pollenate filata #5.

I still have seed from Y. filata #5 from 2 years ago. I can send you some. Plant many and select the ones you like.
