Hi Don, Ive never noticed this one before because its planted behind an old mom and pop motel near a swimming pool and a friend showed me this one.
The other one Ive mentioned is also near a motel swimming pool and is even taller and always thought it was a S palmetto until I saw it up close. I will see if I still have a pic of it.
This region is a real tourist trap and unusual things are seen there and FWIF it wouldnt surprise me if it had some height on it when it was planted years ago. It would have too be old though! Thanks.
