Thanks, yeah, it is probably dead. I have a spare plant inside but it's a shame because one plant won't have healthy offspring, probably. If I ever get it to produce seeds here anyhow. Better to be able to cross pollinate. I should have given it another couple years to size up. Yeah, I've not had luck with other Nolinas, either. I think I tried lindheimer's once, and "La Siberica' twice. The one I collected was a rare one too, that didn't look like any in commercial trade in the US, but definitely keyed out to N. erumpens. I would think the N. texana offered by PDN, Yuccado, etc. are even more tender. |
