Ok I get the ones you're talking about. the Florida Leaf footed bugs infest the flowers. The running bugs the entire plant. Had the latter suck the life out of a row of 421 pale blues (recurvifolia with un-flaccid leaves and cinnamon colored inflorescence) last summer.
