I appreciate the reply friend. The 'poconos hybrids' are of special interest to a couple of palm pals who love yuccas in PA so I will have to send them a nice one once they get some height going on! Thanks again Tim and I will be happy to update. Yuccas seem to grow fast in these parts and while they arent in good draining soils at this time, they are in rich root growing soils to speed them up. I think I will build a mini greenhouse over them this winter and throw in some dry straw! I hope this would be sufficient. I could dig them up but perhaps they are better off in the ground. |
