most people refer to those as Y. recurvifolia. It appears to be the form which is common in New Jersey down to Wash. D.C. area. I've never seen the seed pods from them. One could argue if the pods hang = Y. gloriosa, if they are erect Y. recurvifolia. PS, the one I have of this form died above the snow line this winter. I've had it since 2003ish and it's the first winter to die above the snow line. |
