Yes Tim, Yucca arkansana freemanii is not hardy here either, but the hybrid seems much happy here.

Here is a photo of Yucca "Karlsruhensis type 2" x rostrata:



A hybrid I made in 2008 (BMJ# 2083), it's the first time it bloom, and I hope it will grow a new rosette inside the old, so it will become a Yucca with trunk in time.
