The yuccas in my rear yard have grown so big that the root balls are expanding against the fence and brick walls. They are about 9 years old, mostly about 15 foot tall with root balls up to 2 feet across.
I have removed two that were a big problem.
I'd like to replant 2 new ones and thought that if I put them into a large clay/concrete pot with the base cutout and then into the garden bed that this will limit root ball size.
Will this work?
