24 YEARS of TROPICAL AND DESERT PLANTS

The yuccas in my rear yard have grown so big that the root balls are expanding against the fence and brick walls. They are about 9 years old, mostly about 15 foot tall with root balls up to 2 feet across. I have removed two that were a big problem. I'd like to replant 2 new ones and thought that if I put them into a large clay/concrete pot with the base cutout and then into the garden bed that this will limit root ball size. Will this work? |
