Amen brother. I am on agaveville forum regularly and there is not much interest in yucca there. I wish there was more activity here. Have noticed that PDN is listing the "winter purple" aolifolia. It had been argued that it was soil differences causing the purple. This is good news for us growing the cultivar. Would like to see someone offering the aloifolia arcuata like the one grown locally. Flowers are almost twice the size of any aloifolia or gloriosa. It blooms late like gloriosa. That's all the yucca news I have at the moment. No success with hybrids and haven't heard if my seed made last year did anything for you guys. Mine didn't germinate. |
