There’s reason to think he will be an upgrade.
First round draft choice to start with but that All Pro and a two time Pro Bowler pushes that thought along.
Dillon is Dillon it was a good move to bring him back. His experience in the Offense is big plus with a new #1 back joining him.
But this is a one year deal and a replacement should be added to develop.
Merriweather and Wilson are both undrafted small school players
that showed something in the preseason but not much during the season.
I’m not sure anyone would be excited about them having to be the #2 back.
The Packers can have the pick of any RB in the draft. They have only brought in one for official visits that’s Ray Davis from Kentucky.
I’ve been saying draft the best back in the draft Brooks and give him a red shirt season.
I would keep an eye on Wisconsin back Allen if they are looking to replace Dillon.
He makes all the size speed points and just turned 20.
So adding a RB in this draft is more about 2025 than now.
