Davis: He's coming back isn't he
Anton: Yup, Better hope the pain killers have worn off and the pain made the kid take an uber, there's traffic, that should buy you about 25 minutes to organize this.
Anton: You ain't gonna stick around?
Davis: I am, but don't expect much from me unless it gets out of hand, and when I say out of hand I mean the kids starts breaking shit around my apartment. I can still apply a sleeper hold (Chuckles to himself)
Anton: This isn't funny Davis
Davis: Who you telling, this should have been handled
Anton: Always a Foutain of optimism with you
(Davis shrugs and keeps sipping his whiskey as Anton walkjs into the bathroom. he closes the door and look into the mirror. He reaches in his wallet and takes out an old picture of himself, Davis, Talon and Eddie together after a random Havok. he also unfolds a letter he has been holding for a year. After a few breaths he looks into the mirror)
Anton: Eddie, what do I say..In the depths of my memories burden me. I tried so hard to bury the truth but it resurfaces just like you wrote it in your letter. I find solace in talking to you my departed friend, seeking advice from a realm beyond my reach. With a heavy heart, your physical presence is no longer here to absorb the shrapnel of this ####ing life grenade you dropped on us. Yet, I seek whispering words of wisdom through the corridors of my memories. The advice I seek can never come from audible and physical responses, but rather in the echoes of shared laughter, heartfelt conversations, and cherished moments we had once experienced together. Through this connection, my friend, I find comfort and strength, learning to trust my own instincts and forge forward guided by the imprint of the mammoth size footprints we made together. I now get this chance to relieve this burden I inherited the night I walked in and saw you slumped on your desk with this half-written letter in your hand. But now I also ge4t to lift the crushing weight of this responsibility from my chest and I only hope it allows me to breathe once again. Eddie. I hope your son becomes a better man than all of us, for our sake and his own.
(A subtle knock on the door)
(Anton, the kid just got a the cab, I guess there wasn't much traffic)
