Fiberglass used to seem like a fairly modern alternative to traditional wooden doors, but I've recently seen some convincing wood-look designs that would suit our house beautifully. The entrance receives plenty of rain and changing temperatures, so I'm interested in how the material performs over several seasons. I also want a door that doesn't require frequent refinishing. Our exterior is fairly traditional, which makes appearance important too. Has anyone in Vancouver installed fiberglass and remained satisfied with both its looks and everyday practicality?
