Wood grain was the appearance we wanted, but our old entrance needed regular attention to keep the finish looking fresh. The wet Vancouver climate made a lower-maintenance alternative appealing, especially since we weren't interested in changing the traditional style of the house. We examined fiberglass doors with different textures and eventually found one that worked beautifully with our brick and wooden porch details. Having the complete replacement finished before winter was another priority. New
door company Vancouver installed before pre-winter. The finished door has a rich walnut appearance, simple panels, and a small frosted-glass insert. I was especially pleased with how naturally the design fitted the exterior. The new frame and seals also made the entrance feel more comfortable, so the improvement went beyond appearance alone.
