I remember my dear across -the- street neighbor, Mary Lee Mayo, wanted me to pick out my silver because she wanted to give me my first piece of silver. Didn’t have a clue what I wanted but I did select a pattern and she gave me my first piece of silver,a lovely teaspoon. I had Mr. Max Mitchel engrave my initials on the inside of the spoon. Still cherish that spoon!
