I just learned that Roy passed away yesterday in a nursing facility near his home in Orange City, FL. I talked with his loving wife Susan Brantley today. Roy attended school in Forest until moving to Deland, FL in the early 60’s. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served his country well. He worked for the Florida Department of Highways throughout his career.

Please remember Roy and family in your prayers. Especially remember Dan, his brother, who lost Linda recently. The Brantley family taught me how to play golf at age 13. It’s a sport I still play and enjoy at age 70.
