Joe, tell Jerri hello from me next time you talk to her. It's been a few years since I've seen her. I think the Broiler Festivals went on for a number of years. I'm pretty sure that Linda would have been queen at some point. She was so beautiful, and just as sweet, so she won about every event there was. Didn't recall that they chose kings as well as queens. You seem to be referring to a specific year--are you thinking about the first year the Broiler Festival was held? Maybe someone with a better memory than me can help out.
