Kaye, the class date...'57, is correct. She played guard on the same team as Malba Eady, Carla Lowery, etc. She was a tenacious defensive gal. Her older brother Eddy was a fine running back for the Bearcats around '52 or '53 I think. Sue, her older sis, was a Lady Bearcat on one of those many fantastic teams a few years prior to '57. They had an 82 game winning streak in the '53-'54-'55 seasons. The Jones lived directly across from Liberty Bapt. Church on old 80 hwy. (north of the current Hwy. 80) out east of Forest approx. 4 miles.
