How long did that take you, Steve? Hope you packed a lunch. Or found a drive thru. About a year ago, I rode with daughter Kim to a little town in La to take a deposition. We rode down 55 and stayed overnight in Greenwood. Next morning we crossed the River at Greenville and drove south a couple hours to the little town which I’ve forgotten the name of but she had been warned it had no cell service. Now you know why she let me go with her. It was a cute little town with a quaint Courthouse Square which I walked around, enjoyed, and had lunch while she worked. We left about 5 that afternoon, crossed the River at Greenville again, and I was stunned that GPS was not taking us back to 55. But Kim really trusts and depends on GPS much more than she listens to her mother....so here we go turning north on some little road with me protesting that it HAD to be River Road and we would be driving all night long. She didn’t listen. Wisely. We ended up on the nicest, low traffic 4 lane rd I’ve seen in a long time. Went through Cleveland as I remember. We went on north, connected to 269, and right on into C Ville.
