Panzey….I was just surprised as you are. Would have thought I was wrong but the “identifier” (AI generated…which I’m skeptical of but seems correct so far) names this bird as Eastern Bluebird and he has been to the feeder 3-4 times a day. The seed I’m using is simply a no waste mixed songbird variety. Large and small blend. I’ve been amazed. I also thought it was too early to be seeing bluebirds; however they do not seem to be scouting for nesting boxes. Funny thing is when I have had bluebird houses out in early spring….no luck. I have rarely seen them here. I’m going to try to post a picture from my feeder. It’s usually a video and I know that will not post but I will try to get a screen shot.
I’d like to hear everyone’s opinion of whether this is truly a Bluebird or not. Both AI and I can be wrong…🤣
